Edgewood Community Services

For over 20 years, Edgewood Community Services has had an impact on the lives of more than 17,000 residents annually who live in our apartment communities.  Our educational, cultural and recreational programs help instill in participants a sense of pride and self-esteem.  Our experience has taught us that organized and well-executed community service programs help build and maintain a more civic-minded and responsible community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the live of residents living in Edgewood Communities by providing structured services, activities and programs. In support of our mission, we have established the following goals:

bulletAssist residents in the development and pursuit of their special interests.
bulletConduct community-based activities that enrich the quality of life of all participants.
bulletEncourage participants in wholesome activities.
bulletInform residents of worthwhile services available to them.
bulletPromote community empowerment while engaging in activities that stimulate self-industry and creative development.

Staffing

The staff of Edgewood Community Services is comprised of over 40 dedicated individuals.  They are nurses, social workers, teachers, retired individuals, students, residents and former residents.  The common bond is their desire to assist residents, empower, teach and inform.
